Zillow and Zestimates

I’ve been on Zillow! Whats my house worth?????
Chances are that by the time you are ready to choose a real estate agent and start looking at homes, you’ve visited Zillow.com. Zillow is a wonderful resource, but it’s important to understand how Zillow works, and how information is displayed.

The zestimate on Zillow can be a very confusing number to both buyers and sellers. They go by county information and published sale information, but have no way to compare character, quality, landscaping, maintenance or topography. It is pretty much location and square footage. Those are both important but play only a small part in the whole story. Talk to your broker, they know how to adjust the zestimate to give your home it’s own personality and reflect the true value. We approach each home like we do all our clients as an individual!

No matter what the market is, remember the by-word in Real Estate is still Location, Location, Location.
